I used to watch this series all the time, just the fact it had one of the best opening themes, and I liked how they handle the re-inactments of various crimes, but some of the best were the ones involving the paranormal such as UFOs, Bigfoot, or the Jersey Devil.

I loved the show. I thought it was a shame when they tried to bring it back on Lifetime though. It wasn't long before Robert Stacks death and you could tell just by looking at him he wasn't doing well. Not to mention his voice didn't have the same strength it used to. It was very similar to how Donald Pleasence's voice was so weak and frail in Halloween 6. I tried watching it a couple of times but seeing and hearing Mr. Stack like that was depressing. It wasn't too much later that he died.

Unsolved Mysteries was one awesome show. Robert Stack's voice and that music used to creep me out when I was a kid!

Robert Stack's voice, to me, is up there with Vincent Price's and The Movie Preview Guy. You know who they are!
I remember Stack being the FBI agent in Beavis & Butthead Do America, that was quite amusing!

Great voice on a great man. RIP I sure miss this show though,i wonder what new crimes would have been featured if Mr. Stack was still alive.

Robert Stack was also hilarious in Airplane! The scene where he kicks everybody's ass in the terminal left me on the floor I was laughing so hard.

I remember Stack being the FBI agent in Beavis & Butthead Do America, that was quite amusing! The best part of this was that Stack was constantly ordering the cops to give anal cavity searches. It was interesting watching Unsolved Mysteries after you've heard Stack say things like "I want you to give this scumbag a cavity search! I'm talking Roto-Rooter!"...
