Unless they plan on digging up Hitchcock's or Bloch's graves, there is no way this is going far.

Bad idea,very bad idea...
No one could "remake" what Hitchcock brought to his audience..
People will just watch this "remake" and laugh.. And that laughter will be shameful.. I'm not going to be in that crowd when the laughter begins..
Out of respect for Hitchcock's classic they should not tarnish it with another damn remake...

Note: They did not say remake, they said "re-imagine." As in Rob Zombie just re-imagined Michael Myers into a pervert. Or: Hollywood execs are so brainless that they forgot what the word "remake" means and have re-imagined the definition by inventing a new word.

That's why I put the word reimagine in quotes on the .com when reporting it. Because I know exactly what that word means. They realize people are getting tired of remakes. So they use a new word to mean the same thing. Only with the new word they can make it even worse.

Al Snow you say? He is actually quite good; maybe he is bad on purpose. I fail to see the link between Al Snow and Norman Bates, although if the producers of this new project go on the right track, they can steer right into Ed Wood territory.
