Vincent Price, to me, is the God of Horror. Everything from how he presented himself, to his voice (one of the most memorable, and coolest-sounding) were just incredible. Vincent Leonard Price Jr. May 27, 1911 - October 25, 1993 R.I.P.

... He really made horror what it is today with those guys! They worked there ass's off! I loved him in House on Haunted Hill! I wish I had more of his movies! Every movie I saw with him I loved! Oh, definately. I loved how he would make the movie a part of him, adding his own charismatic flare to each and every thing he did. I loved that about him, none of his movies bore me, and I just shake my head when people attempt to remake them. I mean... c'mon, he's Vincent Price! Enough said. ... Yea man he was right up there with Karloff, Lugosi and Chaney Jr... Also, it is funny you mentioned Boris Karloff, this is a piece of an article I found which makes something along the lines of similiar to your comment: ... He is best remembered for his roles in a series of low-budget horror films where his distinctive voice and serio-comic attitude were well recognised. In such films, his tall physique and polished urbane manner made him something of an American counterpart to the older Boris Karloff...

I loved Vincent Price. I cried during Edward Scissorhands.

I agree with everyting you guys said, I love all his movies, he was also incredible in edward Scissorhands, I'm a huge Tim Burton fan and Vincent was his idol.
Have any of you ever heard of a short film called Vincent, its an early short film Burton made, based on a poem he wrote, Price narrated it. Its amazing!

Vincent Price is a true horror legend, I've never seen one of his films that I didn't like. I think he could've starred in Gigli and I would've liked it. Ok, that may be pushing it a bit...

He was even good in non horror roles. I loved him as Egghead on the Batman series from the 1960's. He was eggcellent. ;D

I used to watch the old Batman series all the time when I was growing up. Always liked Price as Egghead, Cesar Romero as The Joker, and Burgess Meredith as Penguin.

I have most of it on DVD thanks to Tommy. He put the episodes together in Legacy collections. Basically making DVD's for each villain. Great stuff.

He was selling them awhile back. A fair price. 5 dollars a DVD if I remember right. I'm sure he'd be more than willing to make you a set. PM him about it if your interested.

I believe this thread needs to come back to the top, especially after seeing Vincent Price mentioned in another thread. And since we have some new people, perhaps they'd like to throw in their own two cents.

I really liked him in "The Bat"(second remake), he was such a great actor, in that movie it was hard to tell if he was a good person or a bad person.
I also liked him in "The Fly". His acting and even his voice was absolutely perfect! He will surely be missed!

I wonder. What would Dracula could of been like if Vincent Price got the part of Van Helsing instead of Edward Sloan?
