You can view it here anytime: www.youtube.com/v/pMYALWOHYjwI was a little underwhelmed by the '03 remake but I'm still looking forward to this one. I like the idea of a prequel and some history behind the Sawyer clan. (Plus I'm always up for seeing a bunch of happy-go-lucky road-trippers take a wrong turn into some dusty suburb of hell! )

It looks alright, but too similar to the remake.

why i mean i bet he's as ugly as jason The story is just better if he keeps the mask. Unlike Jason Leatherface is defined by his masks. When the original movies came out from the very beginning you never saw his face. Just the different masks. One for each different mood he was in. With Jason you saw his face right away and he worked up to his famous hockey mask by the 3rd film. He doesn't use the mask to emote like Leatherface does. So when he took it off in the new movie it kind of went against the character a bit. Why make different masks to emote if you can just show his regular face to do it? It makes no sense and he just works better with the masks always on.

Well my bad guys you guys are more interested in this stuff than I am but don't get me wrong I can't wait to see it but the poster did look sucky. I didn't really put attention to it since the movie that john cena's doing "the marine" was right next to it and of course I had the cuss on how the hell that's gonna make money except some virgin crackhead stupid little dee dee dee fans are gonna watch it.

I liked TB. The gore is good, more than the remake. Good suspense.

I'm sorry I didn't see your question Celeste. TCM The Beginning is definitely worth getting. I wouldn't say it's as good as the remake. But it's pretty close. It is a real fun movie. I'm sure you'd enjoy it quite a bit.

Definitely one of the better modern horror movies. Intense, brutal, and gory with a great performance from R. Lee Ermey as always.

R. Lee Ermey is just awesome no matter what he does. I loved him in the remake of Willard. In fact he was about the only good part of that movie.
