NOTE im counting on the movie the actors were making which was were freddy got that glove thing They were making the glove to film the movie for the script that Heather Langenkamp gets from Wes Craven. Which would have been a movie about Heather Langenkamp not Nancy.

Freddy's back to being an evil monster, not an evil comedian.
His look in this was great, he looks stronger then before, the glove or what ever you call it looks odd, but its interesting to see something new.
the Special Effects beat mostly all the films made in 1994, to me it does.
this earns a 5. ;D

Finally a good Nightmare movie again! 5 out of 5. The last good movie put out by Wes Craven in my opinion.

It was good to see Freddy scary again. Also, filled with nostalgia getting to see Heather Langenkamp, John Saxon, Wes Craven, and Bob Schaye. 4/5

getting to see Heather Langenkamp, John Saxon, Wes Craven, and Bob Schaye was cool, but after watching this again recently,i don't like it. The hand glove just didn't look right to me.

I think it was the best way to end the series.

I agree this movie is a solid five. I mean the way the reimagined Kruger was brilliant and that new glove or whatever it was scared me seeing it. I loved that Nancy was in this movie and how she was a mother. Also Freddy in that one was dark and the boiler room was freaky. I mean all in all the effects of that movie were Awesome and it made you cringe well at least it made me cringe. They even brought back one of the classic deaths from the first movie although they altered it, it was like giving remaking a classic scare with something just as cool. In the end this was the salvation and I was so glad that Wes Craven took the reins and did this. If I were him I would have done something after Dream Child and make sure that Freddy's Dead never even happened. I also loved how Heather became Nancy one last time in order to face Freddy and stop him once and for all. Loved every single second of that movie.

The concept for this film was unique, but not one of my favorites. I thought the contacts on Freddy was a little much.I don't like the glove too much either.Overall I give it a 2.The only redeeming factor is Heather's in it.
