I give it a 5 as well, since it seems more like the sequel to the first film.
also it brings back Nancy and keeps freddy in the dream world. ;D

I was gonna say the same exact thing Cory ;D How the hell can you tell the difference in each glove?
Blade size,Glove rips and color, and solder designs are the most noticeable. The part 4 has the most worn look to it,dirty bloody blades, dirty glove etc...

Five out of five. The best film in the series. When I saw the original I was like their is no way you can fight this guy in his own territory. But when they brought up that in dreams you do have an ability something that you have in your greatest dreams was cool it at least meant that you could try to fight him. It also went into the things that scared the people the most and using things that they like against them. I rented this movie and when I saw Nancy I actually spat out what I was eating much to the digust of my mother (i was fourteen i was born in 1986 do not ask me why it took me so long to find this movie i don't even know). I also like Kristen and her ability gave the survivers an edge. And when Nancy died I litterally froze and I was like she can't die their is no way she can die. All of the characters were good and you established that all of them had the same fear but were denying it because they thought they were alone and crazy. One of the greatest in the series!

Don't get me wrong, I like Dream Warriors but I've always thought it was a bit overrated.

In the Phillip death scene Freddy is able to kill Phillip, by tearing the tendons from his arms, and using them to control him like a puppet, making him walk up to the top story, then cutting the strings allowing him to fall to his death.
During his walk through the hallway he walks through the door without opening it..like a ghost.
Now how did this happen...wouldn't the watch nurse hear him when he hit the door...yeah in the dream realm he walks thru it but in the real world this is not possible..
So how did he pass the door without alerting the night nurse?

I Watched this again and I have to say, this is a better sequel to the first Nightmare that Nightmare 2 ever was, I guess that had something to do with the returning characters.

Not bad, but its no where near as good as the ones who came before it and other than New Nightmare it is better than the ones that came after it.

Actually I tend to watch this one the most but I just can't seem to like it for some reason. I don't know why but it's hard for me to sit through, Part 2 is my favorite sequel from the franchise and in my opinion the best. So ?/?

So how did he pass the door without alerting the night nurse? I've always wondered that too. My personal theory is, everything that is happening is being shown to the viewer, for their benefit, and it's all a splicing of what is going on in the real world and the dream world - at the same time. Mind blowing, I know, lol! That's just my two bit theory. Still, I enjoy this movie even with that scene in it, so it's a pass with me.
