Welcome to the Terrortory
How Fast Can You Swim?
Pete is an American travel writer reporting on the booming tourist industry in the Northern Territory. While taking a river cruise he finds himself stuck with a collection of interesting characters, including Kate, the beautiful local tour guide. There is an immediate attraction between the two, but when their boat is rammed by something from below, the tour is thrown into disarray and they become stranded on a tiny mud island. As night falls and the tide starts to rise, the group slowly realise they are being stalked by a huge saler crocodile, beginning a terrifying struggle for survival in one of the most remote places in the world.Wow, i don't even know where to begin. I absolutely love this movie and i HIGHLY recommend it. The scenery was breath taking and that croc was the most brutal and biggest i ever seen on screen. The film made my heart pound, its like i was right there in the horror. I had the same experience when i saw the first Jaws movie.Yes its that good IMO. I'm going to convert this thread into a proper review as soon as i get screen shots together. But all in all, this is the best Crocodile movie i ever seen.Blows all the rest out the water! #2n67qio# #2n67qio# Comments?

I actually placed the rogue dvd right next to the jaws 20th anniversary edition dvd in my dvd case stand. I haven't felt that good watching a horror movie for a long time. It was fun.

I have to ask. Was the Croc CGI or practical effects?

Thats a good question. I'm not sure really. The croc looked very realistic to me.
During the last scene, you might see a little cgi but its really not that noticeable.
I'm going to watch the movie again.I'm just recoving from watching it the first time,so i might have missed some of the details like cgi. But i guess if i didn't notice it the first watch, thats a good sign right?
What i really liked about this film is that they hardly showed the croc during the kills. The same method they used for jaws. Thats why it was so effective to me.
Outstanding movie!

It is a good sign you couldn't tell. That means if it is CGI it was done well. I also agree in creature feature type films it is better for them to show you the monster less. You can build it up and make it scarier in your mind. The human imagination is much more realistic and powerful than any special effect. I hope I can find this soon.

I'm pretty sure your local blockbuster has it.The only thing i'm not sure about is if they carry the unrated version.Let us know what you think when you see it Mr. Sawyer.

Saw this movie not too long ago. I would really recommend it as well.
It's a blast!
Sure we've seen giant crocs before but this movie is very well done and put's a nice spin on a classic theme......

I love Alligator/Crocodile movies. You guys should check out Tobe Hooper's Crocodile movie. Chris Solari is freakin hilarious in it.

I may have to check this one out I usually don't like these because the effects are usually terrible but these sound pretty good.

These movies just never have been my cup of tea. Even Jaws, which I do own and will watch from time to time, doesn't do it for me like most people.
I dunno why, just those kind of monsters don't scare me in movies and don't hold my interest. I wish they did.
