Vote on your two favorite TMNT movies. Mine are easily Part 1 and 2. I thought Part 3 was lame. I watched it again last weekend and I supposed just coming off of the first 2 it wasn't so bad i couldn't sit through it but man.... now I know why things went bad after that and it all stopped there.
I thought TMNT was great I missed Shredder and classic bad guys though. I only saw it 2wice too.
i posted this in the 87 Cartoon thread but I will here too incase you miss it there. There was a reason Bebop and Rocksteady were not in the sequal (Part 2) and here it is. Bebop and Rocksteady were the creations of Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird whilst co-developing the background behind the original animated series. Both hated the toning down of the characters by the second season and refused to use the goofier versions in the second movie, which the studios insisted on. This is why Tokka and Rahzar were used instead.

I voted Part 1 and 2. Though I had a hard time choosing between 2 and TMNT. Both were so good.

Never saw a movie or the show actually. Maybe bits of the show but never a full episode. The video game was fun back in the day though.

I picked part 1 and 2! I grew up watching the first Ninja Turtles movie, when I was little I actually thought Tatsu was some sort of human version of Krang, but latter on I knew better and was really disappointed that Krang wasn't in it. I was especially disappointed that Rocksteady & Bebop wasn't in it too! The thing that really won me over was how realistic the costumes were on the Turtles, they were awesome! Splinter's look was also really realistic, after part 2 he just started to suck! The Shredder's, excellent! He was such a badass, all he cared about was to find the Turtles and kill them! Well isn't that what he was supposed to do? Yeah, it was all perfect with the relationship of the Turtles and Shredder! The movie was the icon for the end of the 80s and the beginning of the 90s, much like Tim Burton's Batman in 1989! In the first movie my favorite Turtle would have to be Donatello! Cory Feldman played the voice for him and he made Don historical! In the 1987 cartoon, Donatello was just "The Smart Turtle" and I didn't care for him that much but in the live action movie Don was just funny, he wasn't the center of attention, he was just there to make everything funny! I love how him and Michaelangelo always bonded and had a good time! I always hate how Raphael was an asshole, I know thats how he acted in the comics but I grew up watching the original cartoon for so long and was used to the fact that he was just a "Smart Ass Turtle" and a nice guy! I also didn't like how Leonardo was such a nerd or geek in the cartoon but I thought he funny in a good way. In the movie, I love how Leo is funny and serious at the same time, he's actually a good hero and leader! Michaelangelo is the only turtle I think didn't change, he still loves pizza, he still like to skateboard and party! He's a little more sensitive in the movie then he is in the cartoon. Judith Hoag was actually really good at April O'Neil, she was hilarious in the scene were she first meets the Turtles. I really missed her in the second one! I also loved Elias Koteas' role of Casey Jones, he was funny and awesome! I love the rivalry with him and Raphael, but I have know idea why they dropped the rivalry and stuck him with Donatello! Well anyway the first film was absolutely great, not perfect but better then the others! I give the movie, 4 out of 5 "HALF TURTLE SHELLS"! Oh yeah you gotta love Mike's Rocky impression! In 1991 a year latter they make "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II" and gave it a subtitle, "The Secret of the Ooze"! Oh thats fine, their going to give the explanation on how the Ninja Turtles came to be, but wait! Where in the Hell is Judith Hoag? Yeah, they replaced her with Paige Turco! She was OK, but she seemed to not take her role seriously enough! I hated how the Turtles didn't use their weapons, it's because the parents didn't like the violences in the last one, so they toned all that down. They don't even say cuss wards anymore like, "Damn" or "Hell"! I liked how the story is more focused on Donatello, but what the f*ck happened to his VOICE! Well the reason for that is, at the time, Cory Feldman had a lot trouble with drugs and had to go to rehab for it, and thats what caused him to miss out on TMNT II. Well anyway, the new voice for Don is played by Adam Carl, and I find his voice to be really annoying! I do like how Don is more like himself as he is in the cartoon though. The other voice actors for the Turtles return, and their just as they were in the first one, GREAT! Robbie Rist is still Michaelangelo and makes him even more funnier! I love the scene where Michaelangelo has to do "Ten Flips" but instead of doing them, he dose jumping jacks and gets caught by Splinter! ;D Raphael is a little more softer and tries to get Keno(played by Ernie Reyes Jr.) into the Foot Klan so he can be their "Man on the Inside", but Raphael gets caught by the shredder and the rest of the Turtles have to get him, but hold on for a minute! I'm getting ahead of myself, lets go back a little. See, theres this company known as, T.G.R.I., and they are the ones responsible for make the "Ooze" that makes the Turtles. Well Shredder returns as well with a badass new mask, finds out about TGRI and goes to find it's finest scientist, Professor Jordan Perry (played by David Warner)! He kidnaps him and forces him to make his own mutants, and thats where Tokka & Rahzar come in! See at the time almost everyone was like "What the f*ck!? Is that Rocksteady & Bebop?" no it's not! Even know we knew the truth deep down, we still kept lying to our selfs and still called them "Rocksteady & Bebop", but now we can't hide the truth from our selfs anymore! One thing thats really weird is when they're fighting Tokka & Rahzar and they crash through a wall where just so happened that Vanilla Ice is performing at a concert, and whats f*cked up about it, is that he bust out a "Ninja Turtle Rap"! It's funny but corny! One more thing that pisses me off is, how in the Hell dose "Super Shredder" gets killed by a fallen dock? I mean look at the first one! He's regular Shredder and he falls from a building and into a garbage truck, then he gets his head crushed by it! What kind of shit dose that make since of? I give the second film a 3 and a half out of 5 "BROKEN OOZE CANISTERS"! In 1993 New Line again release another TMNT film, calling it "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III"! Yeah just that, no subtitle at all! It doesn't even start out like a Ninja Turtle movie! It looks more like a old kung fu movie! Well it finally shows the Turtles doing the most dumbest intro I have ever seen! So anyway, who's the villain in this one? Shredder? No! Krang? No, it's Lord Norinaga and Walker! Yeah, there stock western and kung fu movie bad guys! What the f*ck!? Well anyway the Turtles has to go back in time to ancient Japan to save April who has accidentally been switched with Lord Norinaga's son, Kenshin! Well they go back in time and they immediately lose Michaelangelo! So now they have two people to look for! They find April and escape from Norinaga's castle. Meanwhile, Walker and his men are pillaging a village and it just so happens that Michaelangelo is at that same village and so are the rest of the Turtles! They use their looks most of the time to scare the men, it works and they run off! Michaelangelo saves Mitsu's(The one who brought him to the village and is Kenshin's girlfriend.) little brother, Yoshi from a burning house. Leonardo performs CPR on him and saves him! The Turtles stay at the village most of the time, spending time with the kids and the people. Raphael yet again becomes even softer when he forms a friendship between him and Yoshi, Michaelangelo falls in love with Mitsu but never revels his love for her. Well, Walker has the lantern that the Turtles need to use to get home, so they go and try to get it back. I love how Corey Feldman came back to do Donatello's voice, and how Elias Koteas came back to do Casey Jones too! My favorite line in that hole movie is when Leonardo gets Lord Norinaga stuck under the bell and walker blasts it with his cannon and latter we see Norinaga getting out of it and his hair is sticking up. Then we hear Donatello in the background saying "Look, Don King!", thats gotta be the funnest moment in that movie! Well anyway the costumes in this movie suck ass, look at them when they talk! Their jaws just move up and down like a jackhammer, it doesn't even look like their talking! The movie is just terrible! Why didn't they just use any of the characters from the comics or the cartoon show? What the f*ck? All they intended to do was to cash in on all this Turtle-mania that was going around at the time! I give the movie a 1 out of 5 "TIME TRAVELING LANTERNS" In 2007 we got a new Ninja Turtles movie, that has a clean slate from the first three, much like with "Rocky Balboa" and "Rambo", this movie isn't call "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV" it's call "TMNT". I guess they called it that cause it doesn't connect to the others but it dose show items from the previous movies. This movie isn't tied to the original cartoon from 1987, this ones more for the cartoon series they did in 2003. Anyway, the film isn't live action it's all CGI and I'm not a fan of CGI but this one was OK! They could of done better with the humans and made the movie a little more for adults since most of the original TMNT fans are full grown adults now! Well Leonardo has left to train so he can become a better leader. Meanwhile April goes to Central America to look for him. She finds him or it's more like he finds her. She tells him that the rest of the turtles really are lost without him and he needs to come back but he refuses and she leaves without him. April returns to New York with an ancient item for a rich tycoon named Winters, who is actually an ancient warrior with an internal life and he wants to break the curse that he has witch is living forever. So he gets his old team together but their in stone, so he uses magic to being them to life to help him find all of these monsters and demons that are lose around the city but they have to find them all before the Planetary conjunction or they'll be on earth forever! He also hires the Foot Klan to help but as soon as he got his old team back they are replaced. Meanwhile Raphael is secretly saving people from thugs and other criminals, as "The Night Watcher" but when Leonardo comes back he goes looking for the Night Watcher to tell him to stop what he's doing. When he finds out that the Night Watcher is Raphael, they get into a fight! The scene is just beautifully done! It's my favorite scene in the hole movie, I love how it actually looks like it's raining on them. Well anyway, at the end the Turtles, Splinter, April, Casey Jones and even the Foot Klan join forces to find and defeat the stone warriors, who are now against Max Winters' plan and betrays him. The movie is good but it's not my favorite, I still think they could of done better with the humans and actually make them look like humans. I mean my God they got everything else perfect. Why not the damn humans? It's not perfect, but it's better then part 3. I give the movie a 3 and a half out of 5 "PIZZAS"!

I picked 1 and 2.
The first one is just awesome all around, and one of the most touching scenes is Splinter talking to Raphael after he comes home pissed from his scuffle with Casey Jones. I also found it funny how Raphael would make such a big deal out of his being able to get his sai back, but Splinter told him to leave it alone. Then of course you have the infamous roof top scene and Raphael's line: "Is that all?"
The second one is a nice follow up but you can tell it's taking from the animated cartoon and aiming for an even younger audience. That's fine I suppose, but Raphael really got toned down in this series. He was a smart ass but he wasn't as reckless as he once was, which took away from seeing the comparison to Leonardo's leadership or Michelangelo's wackiness. I was also disappointed that Super Shredder didn't do too much, though looking back on it that was probably for the best. Super Shredder looked ridiculous, haha. Still, the film is entertaining and for that it goes up there as one of my favorites.

To be honest, I always found Krang to be whiny in the series. I don't understand why Shredder even put up with him.

To be honest, I always found Krang to be whiny in the series. I don't understand why Shredder even put up with him. He didn't! ;D He would do things to him at the end of some episodes, like one I just saw, where Krang was bitching at Shredder for felling another plan and Shredder stuck a big peaces of metal over his face while he was still in his robot body so he couldn't hear him! #24# I just love their slap stick humor! ;D

That was weird! ;D
I found the original music video to "TURTLE Power"! It's pretty weird, theres a really weird part in it that shows two cheerleaders pulling up their skirts to show their asses off! Now thats fine with me but I believe some parents didn't approve of that! ;D

I went with Part 1 and 2. After that they went off the deep end with the third, but I did like TMNT quite a bit. One fun fact I've always loved about the first is that the movie Raph goes to see before he meets Casey the first time is Critters, that's one of my favorite movies. I also loved how they showed the inner workings of the Foot Clan, its something that wasn't shown much in the cartoon show. The last time I watched it a few months back I couldn't help but smile when I heard all of their catch phrases and slang, they were so much a part of my childhood growing up it was like I was meeting a group of long lost friends.

When I was a kid, it was all about Part II. As I got older, I slowly went back to the first and to this day, it is easily my favorite, not even close. So dark, and the rooftop fight with Shredder at the end is beyond epic. Still like II, but it isn't even close anymore.
III was awful as a kid and it's still pretty bad now to me.
TMNT was a pleasant surprise. Love when Leonardo and Raphael fight in the rain, amazing on Blu-ray.
