Scottie Pippen may have been the most significant figure in the history of the NBA. ... No, Pippen may never have had a title without Jordan. But there's a good chance Jordan would never have had a title without Pippen. And what would NBA history be like then? -Sam Smith Scottie Pippen YouTube ChannelOfficial Scottie Pippen Tribute Site You can watch his retirement ceremony here! It's very good I recommend it.
I never mentioned it but Scottie Pippen was one of my hero's growing up and he still is. I idolized him and he drove me to be a better basketball player. While everyone ran around with Michael Jordan jerseys on I wore a Scottie Pippen jersey. I love Jordan but Pip was my guy.
This topic may never be replied to because non of you may be fans of his nor watch NBA at all but I'm making it anyway because hopefully someone here it. CLICK HERE FOR CARRER STATSCLICK HERE TO WATCH HIS FAMOUS DUNK ON PATRICK EWING

I always hated the Bulls, but Scottie was a great player. He was the perfect guy to play with Jordan. I wish he could have had more success without Mike. Too bad he went to the West and played against the Lakers during their dynasty days.

I remember when i was at school, I was in my form's Basketball team and i used to watch Nba matches all the time, and through into college, After i stopped playing i used to continue to watch.. Since leaving college i just stopped watching for some reason.. Shawn Kemp stood out amoungst many others and along with players like Scottie Pippen it makes me feel old now knowing hes retired! He was a cool character and fun to watch.

While I am a die hard hockey fan, I have respect for basketball players, it is a very demanding sport.

Pippen was and always will be the man. I agree that Jordan and him complemented each other perfectly, anyone who watched any basketball at that time could see the results easily. Jordan is the greatest of all-time, but everyone needs help and there's no shame in that. Kobe is a legend at the moment and I don't begrudge him a moment for having Shaq and then Gasol help for his five titles.
Pippen also led the team very well after Jordan's first retirement. Sure, they needed the spark of Jordan to get to the playoffs the season after that, but again, one can't live without the other. I've never understood these arguments about a guy being a loser if he alone can't win a team a title. The closest I've ever seen this happen is when Iverson led the Sixers to an opening game win in the Finals against a juggernaut Lakers team. Lol, I'm straying back and forth from Pippen, but it's just fun to see a basketball thread on places you don't expect.
