I haven't yet but I'm planning too it really looks like it might be a unique horror movie and its been a long time since we've had one of those.

It was terrible. Gary Oldman does the best he could with this, but you can't do much with simple sentences and cheezy one liners. This was the worst film of 2009 and the worst horror film of the past two years.
I could see where they got their inspirations from(changeling, burnt offerings) but imo they failed to execute.

That's a shame. This was the first non remake Platinum Dunes had done as far as I know.

Oldman is in it for around 15 minutes from what I heard too.

One bad movie out of all the good ones they've made is pretty good for any production company.

I read a good article in Fango about this last month and was looking forward to it. I will still see it either at the show or on DVD but I am a little let down that people here didn't like it. XN likes every movie almost, if he bashed it it might really suck lol.

He didn't like My Bloody Valentine 3D. You enjoyed it. So you may enjoy this too. I still want to see this.

I'll probably wait for DVD with this one now that I've heard some feedback about it.

It was different. I don't recall there being a Jewish Mysticism horror movie before. Interesting story idea. I really don't know how I'd rate it. I wouldn't say it was bad. But I don't know if I can say it was good. It was perfectly watchable. But nothing outstanding. Oldman was good. But he always is. From a story stand point I can see why he wasn't in it very much. I think the part was a little small time for him. They didn't really need Oldman for the role. Anyone could have played his part. Thanks for sharing it with me Boggy.

I had high expectations for this movie but it failed to deliver. I just thought it was good but nothing special. I'd recommend seeing something else at the show instead of this one.
