Lon Chaney Jr. is the PERFECT Wolfman but man he looks odd as Franky. He's too fat I think. Bela Lugosi is PERFECT Dracula but as Franky he's just to short and his face is too pointy.
For me it's between Karloff and Strange but I will vote for Glenn Strange

Well not technically, I mean he did in fact play a werewolf in "The Wolfman" but he never played the iconic character himself. Actually a little known fact is that Lon Chaney Jr. is the ONLY actor to play The Wolfman for Universal Pictures. EVery other monster had multiple actors play there roles.
The closest anyone came to doing it all was Chaney Jr.. He played The Wolfman, Frankenstein and The Son of Dracula.

The one thing I'll never understand is why Frankensteins Monster stopped talking after he learned how to in "The Bride of Frankenstein". I mean why could he suddenly not talk in "The Son of Frankenstein" at least? That was at least a part of the Original trilogy... Karloff must have asked why he's not talking... did anyone ever find out why on the internet?

I guess it just wasn't important to the plot, in Bride he was pretty much the protagonist and of course after Karloff stopped playing him they couldn't have him talk. particualy with Lugosi

They were actualy going to have Lugosi talk as the monster but the studio thought it was unnecisarily funny ;D

Good thinking from them The closest anyone came to doing it all was Chaney Jr.. He played The Wolfman, Frankenstein and The Son of Dracula. I forgot to add that Lon Chaney Jr. also played The Mummy

Bela Lugosi actually had his nostril rims painted black so his nostrils would appear larger ;D He was really too short for the part. Look how close in height he was to The Wolfman

Do you know that Bela Lugosi was a heroin fanatic when they did dracula I think we should make a thread devoted to him and talk about things like that. H11 if you can find a good Bio Online of him I'd appreciate if you made a thread titled Bela Lugosi and post that Bio as the first post. Hopefully it will talk about his drug addiction and how he was blackballed from playing Dracula for Universal for 17 years. I'm asking you because it's only proper that you make this thread since he's your number one guy.
