These are the Halloweens most of us seem to hate ( Although I like 3, 6 and the RZ Halloween). So which was the worst of them all?

To me Halloween Resurrection doesn't exsist, like Jason X.

Gotta go with Ressurection for me. For as bad as Zombies Halloweens are at least he didn't do THAT to Michael and didn't kill off a horror legend in such as pathetic movie.

True and at least he didn't make up some BS plot about some internet show hosted by Busta Rhymes in Michaels house! Jesus sometimes I wonder what were the writers on ya know....

Meant to pick 8.....but 5, 8 and the remakes Halloween II isn't a remake... Anyways, I picked Resurrection.

Resurrection!
Even though RZ remake and it's sequel are HORRID. Bad acting, turned it in to some hobo looking slasher movie then ending it with some freaking white horse. I do not acknowledge these movies. It took me 3 days to get through the first one because it was so horrible Had to keep turning it off every 30 minutes.

Am I the only one in this thread that liked RZ Halloween 1? Halloween 2 I despise but Halloween 1 I liked.

Remake or not it sucks, why was a white horse in a Halloween film? Not being the key word, and it is interesting that you mention the white horse, as people who start calling it a remake must have seen that white horse and the ghost mommy in the 1981 film. I will give RZH2 credit for attempting to be different, even if the results were uneven.

The biggest problems with RZH are the pacing and writing.
Zombie has a good visual flair, but he desperately needs a studio person to make him find someone to write the script or at least supervise that process and make changes.

It's not perfect but I can wathc it now and then it's not my favorite though. That goes to Halloween 4 The return of Michael Myers

I like Halloween 4, despite the fact that it emulates so much from the F13 franchise.
Then again, they have been doing that since Halloween 2 in 1981, when Carpenter stepped in and directed reshoots to up the gore and violence quotient.

Ressurection and for me it isn't even close. It had no redeeming qualitites whasoever. At least RZ made Michael a bad ass killing machine again for the most part. Part 5 was ridiculous and to me Part 4 had a great first 20 minutes but quickly falls apart and the climax was piss poor, especially for slashers that were made back then.

I think we can all pretty much agree the Halloween Franchise has had more downs than ups compared to most all of the longer running Franchise. To me this longer franchise has been raped the most.

I picked 5 because that was more disappointing due to the time it came out, the franchise still had a chance.

I haven't seen 5 in a long time what was bad about it??? Long time as in early 2000s long time. I remember 4 wasn't terrible for ignoring the ends of II. Anybody else as bothered as me that they decided to forget this is a Roman numeral series?? It went I, II, III then went 4, 5. NO ;D

I can elaborate on the problems of H5.
-the Myers mansion -the mask -Myers is suddenly a bodybuilder -the writing -the faceless and annoying characters -Tina (deserves a seperate mention) -dumbing down Rachel and killing her off quickly -it looks like a TV movie -the clown cops (again, deserves a seperate mention) -the directing
They simply rushed it and it ended up hurting them big time.
It also started the downfall of the franchise due to that rushed schedule, as they introduced Thorn and the MIB and had no idea who and what they were.
The next movie nearly sent the franchise straight to video domestically, and it has already happened in other countries.

You forgot to add the telepathy between Michael and Jamie, missed opportunities with Jamie, and Michael making squealing noises when Jamie unmasked him.
