thought it was good but had to much comedy. I gave it a 4 but would actually say about a 3.5 The more I think about it, I should have only gave it a 3. It was an ok movie but just not good enough to be a 4 or a 3.5. To much cheesy comedy imo.

I give it a 1, pretty goofy piece of junk. Okay fine I take it back... ;D I guess they did put some effort into it. I just don't think that after Part 1 the best thing to do would be make light of it with any humor as they did in Part 2. I just don't see the logic there. Here you have probably the most disturbing movie ever made and you follow it up with a movie that's not a far cry from Killer Clows from OuterSpace? I mean c'mon gimme a break.
I'll give it a 2

I agree when it comes to the humor. I had rated this movie a two. One of the few good parts of the movie is when they hit that cowboy with the hammer. I loved that part!! At least a little better than four though.

PERSONALLY I THINK THIS MOVIE SUKED...THE ONLY THING GOOD ABOUT IT WAS THE KILLINGS AND THE GORE...EVERYTHING ELSE WAS WACK...SORRY...BUT THEY MADE UP FOR IT IN PART 3

Your absolutely right about them making up for it in Part 3. The characters were great, good storyline, etc. I loved it!!

Absoultely terrible, what was Dennis Hopper thinking? One cool thing though: It took place in Burkburnett Tx, which is 30 miles from where I grew up. I have been there several times.

I would love to see Crystal Lake. As far as Burkburnett, I don't know if they filmed it there, but that is the name of the town they used in the movie. I sent Kane Hodder an email tonight, wonder if he will answer...

Where to begin? The sequel is a new direction, but it feels like they were trying to fall in with the pot smoking crowd who wanted their movies more comical, but at the same time made it violent enough to appease the Horror lovers. To me this is a prime example of Hollywood "selling out" a movie by appealing to all parties, and in attempting to do so it crippled this movie, which is why I am forced to give this one a fairly low score.
2/5

I thought it was pretty awful. What about towards the end, when Dennis Hopper's character is attacking the walls with chainsaws, and then the walls bleed!?!?!
It was like your seeing the world through Dennis Hopper's drug-crazed eyes.
I felt like i needed a bath after seeing it. Nasty.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 A nice follow up to the orignal. It has that Dark sense of humor along with the Crazy ass cannibal family and of course Dennis Hopper..Fighting Leatherface with Chainsaws! It can´t get any cooler but! The movie lacks from Storyline along with the really bizarre Music score. Still Twisted fun. 7/10
