I like the idea of combining the two films into one, since they both have the same feeling to them. The only drawback would be that we would lose the theme for the second one; but then again, they can reshoot the opening credits for the first one to include all names, and insert the second theme somewhere. Edit: I just saw this film again on the Sci-Fi network. I remember watching it when TNT and USA would play the hell out of it; the edits only edited the obvious nudity and stuff. Sci-Fi's edit of the film butchered the hell out of it, I hate to sound like an obsessive nerd, but the mixing of different scenes threw me off.

I'd hate to be so typical but Part 1 really is just too amazing not to be held as the best in my eyes... It honestly got me back into horror after I wasn't into it for a while.. and I mean like I was never really into Michael or Jason even close to what I became after seeing Halloween 1 in 2001.
But 2 is excellent though

Very right Tommy. And yeah 2 is great. I just don't think it would really be much if it weren't for the stellar setup from the first one.

Well that is true for anygood sequal! What I liked about it is how Rosenthal went for the gothic look with the long hallway shots and so forth!

Yeah that was cool. And the fact that they got all the original actors back didn't hurt.

I gave it a 4...it has a nice charm to it. I also like how it takes place right after it's original.

For me, this one nearly equaled the first. A truly scary movie with awesome atmosphere, plenty of scares, and the best Michael Myers of all time in Dick Warlock. 5/5

I gave it a four out of five. Jamie Lee Curtis was great, as she was in the first one, and it's always a pleasure to see Donald as Loomis again. I like the darkness of the hospital in this movie. It seemed as the night wore on the dimmer the hallway lights got. Could be me though. I put this movie on every two or three months, it's that good.

Thankfully, Dimension can't remake this because Universal owns the rights to it.
