Okay, so Tommy and I just don't agree on the "Nightmare" series This is my favorite one of the actual "Nightmare on Elm Street" movies (which in my mind excludes "The New Nightmare")...I still don't love Alice but I like her more in this one than in part 4; It's darker than the previous two; the dream sequences are really twisted and cool and I like the idea of him coming in through the babies dreams...I just liked it.

It was my second favorite in the series. It has an interesting concept. 4 of 5.

Gave it a 3. Didn't think it was as good as the first 4 of the series.

'The Dream Child' is poorly underrated, I liked the film its a very gothic and deep horror film with some pretty grueling moments. also deep and symbolic makes it the oddest in the franchise but most interesting and the Beginning credits are probably the best in the franchise. But the movie is ruined by Freddy (along with the worst actors I've ever seen). Goofy, comic-book Krueger just doesn't gel with the dark, gothic tone the rest of the movie has. And the editing is just plain horribal.
I'll give it a 4.3/5

3/5 It was...okay, just okay. I liked how it was very dark and gothic though, that's what boosted my score up from a '2.'

I gave it a two. I liked the kills, but hated the Krueger clan.

I score it 3 I agree pretty much with everything you said. Also Baby Freddy? Lame. And I also thought it was kind of stupid that his Mother would supposedly be bricked away in the walls. Like they'd actually do that to her. I agree about the make up too. My favorite make up for Freddy was from part 2. He just looked more evil in that one. I give it a 2.

The gory effects were great, Freddy's appearence was cool, how he had those long arms, it also had the grosses kill in this film.
4 from me. ;D
