I saw this on a six story tall IMAX screen and was blown away.
The whole film is just incredible on so many levels.

Okay, I decided to put my thoughts on "The Dark Knight"! Liked Heath Ledger as the Jocker, but I still liked Jack Nickolson's Jocker. I was disappointed that the Scarcrow wasn't in this one as much as he was in the last one. I was disappointed at the end where a certain someone won't be in the next one(That is if there will be a next, but I'm sure there will be.). I was really annoyed by Batman's snarling voice, that he has all the time! Now I'm going back to the Jocker. He made me want Batman to kick his ass, he got what ever he wanted, and he was way too powerful. Like when he got away from the police. This was the first time I didn't root for him, EVER! Don't get me wrong, I did like him, he just not my favorite Jocker! Gary Oldman as Gordon was great! Oldman is a triffice actor, and I alway thought that was funny how Warner Brothers released the animated Batman movie " The Batman Vs. Dracula" when we know that Gary Oldman played Count Dracula in "Bram Stoker's Dracula"! Anyway, all in all this was a great movie, not perfect but I liked it and I liked how it was longer then the last one. Some people hate a long movie, but I do! I also didn't like how everywhere you went you saw or heard about this movie. Now "The Simpsons Movie" was everywhere too but only Burger King seemed to only promote them, but with The Dark Knight, every time you turn on the TV couldn't watch it without see something that was talking about it. I really believe that DC Comics bought the rights to Domino's Pizza! ;D I give the movie a 4 out 5 "Permanent Smiles"!

Great review Tim! I'm glad you liked it so much. I for one watched it again about a month ago and enjoyed it way more this time around. Maybe it was because I was intoxicated in the seclusion of my own home but it was just better. Perhaps I have not seen Batman Begins in so long that I didn't hold it up to that movie this time around. I just enjoyed it for what it was and it was good.

Thanks Lord Krang! I am looking forward to future sequels, but if Christian Bale dosen't stop with that damn snarling voice I'm done! I've always said he sounds like Scruff McGruff, seriously. Just listen to this clip, and tell me they do not sound the same:

The voice didn't bother me.
It is tied with WALL-E as the best film of the year, even beating Iron Man.

Disney chairman Dick Cook is pushing for a best picture nomination for WALL-E.
I also read that the lists are being compiled and TDK stands a good chance of getting best picture and best director nods in addition to Ledger's seemingly obvious nomination.
WALL-E gets me teary eyed too.

has anyone noticed that the riddler is technically in this movie. when a man named mr. reese goes to lcuicis syaing he knew who batman was he was on the talk show when joker mad ethe threat. in the comics the riddler already knows who batman is but never admits it also one of his alias is mr.reese (mysteries) so it is highly possible that if nolan does a 3rd batman The riddler could be in it
