I saw 1000 Corpses once and never wanted to see it again.
It is TCM on acid without any sort of logic or reason involved.
Now, if the lost footage was restored, it might be a little better.
I thought that Zombie could do a mature, respectful horror film, but instead, he had dialogue about taco turds, floppy t*tties and warm coochies.

Did you expect Ronny to talk about Fluffy bunnies and teddy bears? I mean, Hes supposed to be the mean abusive boyfriend. What else would he talk about?
If i was in the Same situation as Joe Grizzly i would have probably said something along those lines to make whoever was banging at my door leave....

He could have used half of that vulgarity and it would have worked. Plus, there is your favourite scene in the movie...the bagel boobs.

I found out why there is no Score,
The only thing Tyler Bates composed was the new Halloween theme and The Shape Stalks Laurie....Everything else was stolen from the Dawn of the Dead 2004 score!

Yeah, that would present some legal hurdles.

Ok guys, i just watched the Directors cut. WOW! a big difference over the theatrical. This shows alot more charector development then the WP, and i think the timeline is better. IMO, this blows the WP out of the water.

What did you think of the rape scene?
A lot of people are disappointed in Zombie for putting it back in and making it more graphic.

It didn't really bother me that much as the one from the original THHE. If you get any chance to see the directors cut, i suggest you too. It is far superior to the WP.

I've ordered my copy so it should be here any day now, I'll let you guys know what I think about the director's cut. I know alot of people are going to wonder why I bought the movie when I didn't have very many nice things to say about it after seeing it at the theater. I'm a horror completist though so I had to add it to my collection. Also, as I've said before sometimes I won't like a film upon first viewing and it'll take a few more times seeing it before I like it. Hopefully this will happen with RZ's Halloween.
